Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup orange and black candy sprinkles
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar together until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until the mixture is light and glossy.
Fold in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Stir in half of the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips and the festive Halloween sprinkles over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.
Notes
Keep these in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. For added texture, feel free to add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans. If in a rush, place the pan in the fridge for 20 minutes to speed up the cooling process.
