It is incredibly easy to assemble, saving you time in the kitchen while providing a hearty, satisfying flavor that keeps guests coming back for more. Ingredients

Scale

1 lb lean ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning (non-alcoholic)
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup black olives, sliced
1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until cooked through and no longer pink.
Drain excess fat, stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water, and simmer for 2 minutes until thickened; allow to cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, whip the softened cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth and creamy.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish or serving platter.
Top the cream cheese layer with the cooled seasoned beef mixture.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and green onions over the top in even layers.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For the best texture, add fresh lettuce right before serving. You can substitute ground beef with ground chicken or finely diced game meat if preferred.
