Description
A creamy, fruity, and refreshing strawberry milkshake made with fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream, milk, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for quick treats or warm-weather cravings.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
2 cups vanilla ice cream
3/4 cup cold whole milk, plus more if needed
1 tablespoon honey or granulated sugar, optional
1/2 teaspoon non-alcoholic vanilla flavoring
1 small pinch fine salt
Fresh strawberry slices, for topping, optional
Whipped cream, for topping, optional
Instructions
Prepare the strawberries by rinsing, patting dry, hulling, and halving them.
Add strawberries, ice cream, milk, non-alcoholic vanilla flavoring, salt, and honey/sugar to the blender.
Blend on medium speed for 20-30 seconds, then high for 10-15 seconds until smooth.
Adjust consistency by adding milk (for thin shakes) or more ice cream.
Taste and add extra sweetness if desired.
Serve immediately in chilled glasses with optional toppings.
Notes
For non-dairy: Use almond milk and vegan ice cream.
Add frozen bananas for extra creaminess.
Strawberries can be pre-frozen for a thicker texture.
