Ingredients
1 bone-in turkey breast (approx. 4–5 lbs)
3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and pat the turkey breast completely dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
Combine softened butter, olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until a smooth herb paste forms.
Loosen the skin from the turkey breast and rub half the herb butter underneath, then coat the remaining mixture over the skin.
Pour chicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan.
Roast for 60-70 minutes, basting with pan juices every 20 minutes.
Check for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the breast.
Remove from the oven and let rest on a cutting board for at least 15 minutes before carving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For extra crunch, you can add turkey bacon strips during the last 20 minutes of roasting. Always use a meat thermometer to ensure food safety.
