Juicy beef franks are wrapped in buttery, golden crescent roll dough to create a delightful snack that kids and adults will love. Easy to assemble and quick to bake, these mummies are sure to be a centerpiece at your next themed gathering.
Ingredients
8 premium beef franks (or chicken franks)
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and pinch the seams to form a rectangle.
Slice the dough into thin strips about 1/4 inch wide.
Wrap the dough strips around each frank like a bandage, leaving a space at the top for the face.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
Remove from the oven, cool for 2 minutes, and use mustard to create two small dots for eyes.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat in a toaster oven. Use turkey or chicken franks for a leaner alternative. If dough becomes sticky, chill in the freezer for 5 minutes before cutting.
