Description

Transform lean turkey breast into a succulent, restaurant-quality meal with this easy honey garlic glaze. This recipe uses simple pantry staples to create a sticky, caramelized coating that is perfectly sweet and savory. It is an ideal high-protein dinner for busy weeknights, offering a stress-free cooking process that yields juicy, flavorful results every time. Perfect for families looking for a healthy yet decadent-tasting centerpiece that comes together in just over an hour.

Ingredients

Scale

2–3 lb boneless turkey breast
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels to ensure the glaze adheres properly.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the turkey breast for 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ginger powder until smooth.
Place the seared turkey in a baking dish and pour half of the glaze over the meat.
Bake for 35-45 minutes, basting with the remaining glaze every 10 minutes.
Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) using a meat thermometer.
Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing to lock in the juices.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of water if the glaze has thickened too much. Use a meat thermometer to prevent overcooking the turkey breast, as it can dry out quickly. If you prefer a thicker glaze, you can simmer the sauce in a small saucepan on the stove for a few minutes before applying.
