Ingredients
1 large French baguette or Italian loaf (14–16 inches)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 garlic cloves, finely minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Slice the bread lengthwise in half
Mix butter, garlic, parsley, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder
Spread the garlic butter on cut sides of bread
Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella on top
Bake 8-10 minutes until golden
Notes
For halal version, use vegetable-based butter
Cut into individual slices before or after baking
Serve warm with soups or pasta
Store leftovers in airtight container for 2 days
