Ingredients
1 large French bread loaf or Italian bread loaf (14–16 inches)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves fresh garlic, finely minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Slice bread lengthwise and cut each half into 4 equal pieces
Combine butter, garlic, parsley, Parmesan, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil in a bowl until creamy
Spread garlic butter mixture evenly on bread slices
Sprinkle mozzarella cheeses over the top, if using
Place cut-side up on baking sheet and bake 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp
Notes

Add extra herbs for flavor variation
Optional mozzarella adds melty texture
