Perfect for kids and adults alike, this recipe is a quick and delicious way to celebrate the season with a festive, non-alcoholic, and pork-free crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
1/2 cup pizza sauce (alcohol-free)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
16 slices turkey bacon, chopped into small strips
16 black olives, sliced
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into 8 equal rectangles.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce onto each rectangle, then sprinkle a small amount of mozzarella and turkey bacon pieces over the center.
Cut the remaining dough into thin strips and drape them across the pizza rectangles in a crisscross pattern to resemble mummy bandages, leaving a gap near the top for eyes.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Carefully remove from the oven and place two olive slices on each mummy to create the eyes.
Notes
Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
Reheat in an oven or toaster oven to maintain a crispy crust.
For a vegetarian version, substitute turkey bacon with sautéed mushrooms or diced bell peppers.
Lightly brush dough strips with olive oil before baking for extra crunch.
