Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
2 tubes refrigerated biscuit dough
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
12 slices white American cheese
1 small can black olives
1/4 cup sour cream (optional garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until no pink remains.
Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning, and a splash of water as directed on the packet.
Simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce is thick.
Flatten each biscuit with a rolling pin and press them into the muffin tin cups to create little bowls.
Spoon a generous tablespoon of the beef mixture into each biscuit cup.
Sprinkle with a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
While they bake, use a cookie cutter to cut ghost shapes out of the white cheese slices.
Remove the pies from the oven, place a cheese ghost on top of each, and return to the oven for 30 seconds until the cheese softens.
Add two small pieces of black olive for eyes.

Notes

Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in an air fryer to keep the crust crispy. Substitutions: Substitute beef with ground chicken or turkey for a lighter version. Ghostly Eyes: If you don’t like olives, use tiny dots of sour cream or black beans for the eyes instead.
