Description

Achieve perfectly crispy, tender air fryer nuggets in under 20 minutes. These halal-friendly, guilt-free bite-sized chicken morsels are ideal for a quick meal or snack. Panko and Parmesan coating guarantees a golden crunch while olive oil adds rich flavor without the grease.


Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, and garlic powder.
In a separate dish, beat the egg.
In a third dish, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Dip each piece of chicken into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Place the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between each piece.
Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Remove the nuggets from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For the crispiest results, make sure to not overcrowd the air fryer basket. If necessary, cook the nuggets in batches.
To store leftover nuggets, let them cool completely before placing them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
